»Falsche Konkretheit« als politisches Instrument (PDF-E-Book)

Der Artikel nimmt Bezug auf Franz L. Neumanns Spätwerk und den darin entfalteten Zusammenhang von politischer Entfremdung und Angst. Anders als in der Sekundärliteratur wird die Verschwörungstheorie in den Fokus gerückt und als Instrument politischer Agitation in den Händen caesaristischer Bewegungen analysiert. Es soll zwar einerseits Kritik an Neumanns teils defizitärer Begriffsarbeit geübt werden, ebenso aber seine Relevanz für eine kritische Theorie politischer Agitation rekonstruiert werden.

Abstract:
The article refers to Franz L. Neumann’s late works and the unfolding relationship between social, psychological and political alienation and conspiracy theories. Unlike in the secondary literature, the conspiracy theory is brought into focus and analyzed as an instrument of political agitation in the hands of caesaristic movements. On the one hand, criticism of Neumann’s partly deficient conceptual work should be practiced, but also his relevance for a critical theory of political agitation should be reconstructed.
