Gewalt in der Spätadoleszenz. Perspektiven der Bindungsforschung (PDF-E-Book)

Zusammenfassung:
In dieser Arbeit untersuchen wir Gewalttätigkeit in der Spätadoleszenz unter einer bindungstheoretischen Perspektive. Innere Arbeitsmodelle von Bindung, die sich als Erwartungshaltungen im Individuum aufbauen, haben Einfluss auf die Art und Weise der Beziehungsgestaltung und der Affektregulation. Während sicher gebundene Personen darauf vertrauen, dass ihr Bedürfnis nach Nähe und Sicherheit erfüllt wird bzw. sie die Kompetenz haben, diese selbst zu befriedigen, scheinen Jugendliche mit vermeidender Bindung ständig Zurückweisung zu erwarten, weshalb sie die Bedeutung des anderen und die Bedeutung von Bindung herunterzuspielen versuchen. Nachdem das prinzipielle Bedürfnis nach Nähe aber dennoch vorhanden ist, kommt es vor allem bei Bedrohung des Selbst häufig zu einem Zusammenbruch der Affektregulation. Unsere Hypothese: Bindungsvermeidung und desorganisierte Bindung dürften in unserer Stichprobe von männlichen Gewalttätern (n=26) im Vergleich zu einer gematchten Kontrollgruppe (n=15) überrepräsentiert sein, und die Dysregulation sollte vor allem bei Bedrohungsthemen auftauchen. Zur Erfassung der Bindungsrepräsentanzen wurde das Adult Attachment Projective Picture System (AAP, George, West, & Pettem, 1999) verwendet. Die Hypothesen konnten dabei bestätigt werden.

Abstract:
In this study we focus on violent adolescent offenders within an attachment perspective. Inner working models of attachment, arising as individualized expectations and pertaining to the satisfaction and regulation of needs and affects, should have strong impact on the creation of relationships and the way of regulation of affects. Securely attached individuals usually have confidence in the adequate gratification or in the competence of being able to satisfy their need of safety and closeness. Adolescents with avoidant attachment on the other hand expect rejection and consequently try to reduce the impact of others and the impact of attachment itself. As the need for closeness and intimacy is present too, dysregulation of affect appears as a consequence mainly in case of threat of the self. Avoidant and dysorganized attachment should consequently be found more often in our sample of adolescent male offenders (n=26) than in a matched control group (n=15). Moreover, dysregulation should mainly appear in case of threat. To assess attachment representation we used the Adult Attachment Projective Picture System (AAP, George et al., 1999). Our hypothesis could be mainly confirmed.
