Dieser Beitrag versucht, Einrichtungen des Gesundheitswesens mit
der Brille eines teilnehmenden Beobachters zu verstehen. Der
gewählte Zugang basiert auf dem Theoriemodell der Psychoanalyse und
entwickelte sich unter dem Einfluss der Tradition der Tavistock
Clinic sowie des Tavistock Institute for Human Relations weiter.
Die Tradition in der Arbeit mit Institutionen und insbesondere mit
Gesundheitsorganisationen wird dargestellt.
Abstract:
This article describes an attempt to understand health care
institutions through the eyes and mind of a participant observer.
The approach adopted by the authors is based on psychoanalytic
thinking and ideas, and has developed under the influence of the
tradition of the Tavistock Clinic and the Tavistock Institute of
Human Relations. The adaptation of this method to the observation
of large organisations is described on another occasion
(Hinshelwood, R.D. & Skogstad, W. 2000b, The method of observing
organisations, German translation in: Freie Assoziation 2003, 6, S.
23–34). In this article we will give an outline of some of this
tradition of work in institutions, especially health care
organisations.
